How to get my dog to stop biting me and my other dog?
I just recently adopted a 5 mo old german shepard/lab mix. He's a sweetheart, and wicked smart, but I'm at a loss as to how to stop this biting. Especially when he bites my other dog, a 3 yr old mutt. Do I just let them duke it out, or should I intervene?
Answer: My parents had a shepherd/lab mix that was considered snappy.
They tried everything to correct him of this..
One day....he snapped at my husband and clamped down on his finger.
I know it sounds mean...but my husband literally flicked the dog on the nose with his finger.....VOILA! he was NEVER snappy again TO ANYONE.
